If you create articles on your blog or website and are looking to double your traffic, Twitter is a great platform to do so. Read on

This is a tasteful way to encourage participation and create a friendly user experience.

Ask Questions

Instead of letting people know that you’ve published something new, try asking them a question about the Topic first and link to the website. This encourages people to comment on what they feel about the subject on your website.

Using Comments Section

The comments section of a blog is more useful than anything you’ll ever write. Alert people on Twitter that the conversations that are starting up on your website are very interesting and write what the conversations are about. This gets people more interested and doesn’t sound like a sales pitch.

Asking to Share

Asking followers in the third Twitter whether a post is worth a Share (Facebook share, StumbleUpon etc). If you’re helping out others on Twitter, people will be happy to share your stuff once in a while. Use this in rarely.

Mix in these 3 things with doing things for others, promoting and helping followers etc, you get a healthy array of followers happy to do what you want. As a general rule of thumb, 75% of the time, pitch and help others and 25% of the time, sell your stuff.

Be Fair and people will treat you well.
