PURPOSE

Users can send and read posts (tweets) that are up to 140 characters of text. You can let your friends or your followers know what you are doing, something interesting you’ve seen and would like to share or to promote your business by sharing your latest news and blog posts.

This allows you to quickly send information and allow for friendly informal collaboration with friends, acquaintances, admirers, celebrities and strangers.
