It can be frustrating to sign up to Twitter and not know how to find friends or that share your interests to interact with. This is why most people find Twitter utterly senseless and boring.

Here’s a few strategies in getting the most from Twitter

1.     When you log in to Twitter, you will find a link ‘Find People’ on the top right. Search for the names of your friends here or if you can’t find them, type in a location eg ‘Sydney’. You will find all members identified as being from this region. Also you can write hobbies or terms that you can find people with. For example, if you’d like to connect with people who ‘knit’ , search for the term ‘knit’ or ‘knitting’ and you can find people who have the same hobby as you. You can do this for your business industry also.
